Disruptions and Closures

Our Sherman M4A2E8 ‘Fury’ is currently away from it’s usual display whilst undergoing essential maintenance. We hope to return it back to the Tanks For The Memories Exhibition soon!

The Tamiya Hall, along with the Book Shop, Cafe and Ukraine exhibition will be closed due to a private event, all other galleries will be open as normal.

Tiger 131 will be away from its usual spot in Tank Story hall, and is currently in the workshop for preperation ahead of Tiger Day Spring. Tiger 131 won’t be on public display during this time and is expected to return back to our Tank Story Hall on 28 March. Find out more about Tiger Day here.

Tiger Day Spring 2026 takes place today. The Museum is open to Tiger Day Spring ticket holders only, and tickets must be purchased in advance as this is a sell out event. Find out more about Tiger Day here.

The Vehicle Conservation Centre will be closed for a cycling event. Don’t forget to use your annual pass to visit the Vehicle Conservation Centre on another day.
