Free Wellbeing Event in Support of the Armed Forces Community

Members of the armed forces community are invited to ‘On Track’, a FREE event addressing the unique experiences and challenges faced by those in and around the armed forces, 10am – 4pm on Thursday 2 October at The Tank Museum.

On Track offers a safe, welcoming space to connect with others and find out about the available support for the armed forces community.

Organisations and charities will be on hand to offer advice, plus support services at the event and beyond, and an audience led Q&A session will provide attendees the chance to raise topics or share concerns that matter to them and their community

Plus, join writer and artist Tilly Ingram for a drop-in session offering gentle and engaging exercises, empowering visitors to make new pieces of art using found materials. This is part of Poole Lighthouse’s ongoing Our Freedom: Then and Now project, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

Tom Holmes, Events and Partnerships Manager, said:

“We are pleased to support the armed forces community with this dedicated event, On Track. This year, the focus is on community, celebrating the power of positive, supportive communities and their impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

“Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or someone close to you or simply want to learn more about the resources available, On Track is here to help.”

On Track is open to all members of the armed forces community – including regulars and reserves, service families, the bereaved, service leavers, veterans, and anyone connected to life in the forces.
