The South West Model Show hosted by The Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset, showcases an incredible range of scale models, including planes, boats, sci-fi, and -of course – tanks!
There will also be model-themed tours, talks, and tips, plus plenty of activities for mini-modellers.

Heroic Rebels, fearless Mandalorians, and other iconic characters will be patrolling the South West Model Show — perfect for photo opportunities and Star Wars fans of all ages.
Entry to the show is included in your Museum ticket, so visitors will also be able to explore the powerful, interactive exhibitions telling the story of tanks and tank crews.
If you’re a keen modeller make sure you enter the South West Model Show competition by midnight on Wednesday 10 September for a chance to win exclusive prizes, including a ride in a tank. It costs £3 to enter, plus your Tank Museum entry ticket on the day. Judging will take place at the show on 14 September 2025.
